Using AI to Simplify SOC 2 Compliance
At Monachus, we're always exploring new ways to make complex topics easier to understand. Recently, I tested out Google's NotebookLM, a tool that's been making headlines for creating engaging audio content. Curious about its potential, I used it to create a brief overview of SOC 2 Compliance—an area we know well at Monachus.
The result was a concise podcast that explained SOC 2 in a clear, approachable way. It even nailed how I typically describe what we do at Monachus, especially when talking to people outside the tech world. While the AI had some quirks (like reading out every letter of the acryonym "S-O-C" instead of "sock") the content was accurate and aligned with what I'd provided.
I'm tempted to turn this into a series. With tools like NotebookLM and ChatGPT, I'll definitely be using this approach for client education and training new team members. It's a great way to break down complex concepts and make them accessible to a wider audience. Have a listen to the audio below.
